But it’s also a place filled with warmth and charm. Welcoming accommodations, fine restaurants, stellar shopping, plenty of things to see and do, and no shortage of outdoor fun and adventure. The WMA Convention will begin on Wednesday, June 5 with our annual golf tournament, followed by drinks and heavy hors-d’oeuvres hosted by the Mining Associates of Wyoming.
On Thursday, June 6 the general session of the convention will convene at 8:00am to hear from a variety of speakers. The annual WMA President’s Lunch will follow upon conclusion of the session at noon. On Thursday evening the convention will hold its annual banquet and silent auction for all attendees at 6:00pm.
On Friday, June 7 the convention will reconvene at 9:00am, with our Safety and Reclamation Awards luncheon following at noon.
The convention will conclude with a Congressional panel discussion at 1:30pm.

Annual WMA Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024
The Annual WMA Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the beautiful Olive Glenn Golf and Country Club. Built in 1970 by Designer Bob Baldock, Olive Glenn Golf Club is an 18 hole Par 72 championship golf course. Located in the basin of Cody, Wyoming, surrounded by beautiful mountains and scenic wildlife. With open fairways and manicured greens, you are sure to enjoy your round.
